The purpose of this model is to make your desk a little neater and to cut down the time you spend digging for notebooks or files. This model includes a phone/calculator holder, a place to store some temporary files or notebooks, and a place to hang headphones, earbuds, or whatever else you would like. This will help maximize working space on your desk and can also help you maximize efficiency by being able to quickly access any notebooks, notes, files, or whatever you store in this simple organizer. While I was designing this model, I came across several challenges. One was that I had a hard time getting the scaling right so that it could fit. I had to make several iterations to come up with this one that has a perfect balance between benefit, size, and practicality. If I could redesign this model again, I would probably change the headphone holder and add a tray for pens, pencils, erasers, you name it. The headphone holder is a little snug with big headphones, but then again, that is with big headphones. I would add the tray for ease of access to just simple and basic stuff. 3D printing would help strengthen my design by making it not just an idea, but a functional, working tool that could help people excel at school. I have made prototypes myself and I can already see the difference in efficiency.
