Simple Dice Box

Simple Dice Box

prusaprinters

A simple box for holding 8 20mm dice.

Made in OpenSCAD, so it is quite easy to modify this model to suit your needs by changing the base variables at the top of each file:

border: How thick will the border around the dice be (in millimeters). The default is 2.5 mm.

cube_size: The size of the dice's single edge (again, in millimeters). The default is 20.5 mm (which allows some clearance of my 20 mm dice).

cubes_x: The number of dice in the X direction.

cubes_y: The number of dice in the Y direction. Together with cubes_x, these parameters form the grid for the dice as well as the total dimensions of the final object.

With a border of 2.5 mm (which is the default), printing with 3 perimeters is recommended (at least in the top few layers, to make it look nice).

It is recommended to perform a color change on the cover to make the design pop out. See the cover's note for more info on how to print it properly.
