This is an easy setup for playing checkers and chess. You can carve it out of wood. The letters for the chess-pawns are picked from American names. The pawns with the letter X are made to mark special pieces in checkers. The checkerboard can be carved out of a flat sheet of wood that fits inside a standard envelope. There are some thin lines inside with a width of 0.1mm. These lines are where the laser cutter should make its cuts (one of them is right at the edge of the checkerboard and therefore you can't see it). The only thing you need after carving out is someone to play with.
