Simple Enclosure / Casing Corners

These corners will enable you to produce a simple yet effective enclosure for your 3d printer. The enclosure will not be fully sealed but will protect against draughts and dust whilst maintaining a stable temperature environment and supressing plastic odour. The corners are designed for use with the following: Top and bottom faces- 6mm Acrylic Sheet All other faces - 5mm Acrylic Sheet Face height and width - as appropriate for your printer I bought the acrylic for this enclosure from sheetplastics.co.uk who cut it to the faces to the exact sizes that I required. The are 5 corner files to download. One of the corners must be printed 4 times, the location and quantity for each corner design is identified in the file name. You should have 8 corners in total. Access to the printer is via the front panel which slides up and out if required (see the attached photos). Wing nuts and bolts were used to assemble the corners to the acrylic sheet (finger tight only to avoid damaging the acrylic.). Instructions Layer height: 0.3mm Material: ABS Cooling: No Supports: No
