Simple face shield frame - laser cut version

thingiverse

A simple frame for a face shield. For how to deploy this, please see https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4240063 as the operation is the same. This has been reshaped slightly to be easier to stack horizontally / get more frames from the same acrylic sheet (see examples for 1, 2 and 3 - basically separate them by 2 millimeters), but will accept the same screens. Instructions: https://imgur.com/gallery/D79BKFx Video instructions: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tb01Zu3xlmk This is designed to print quickly, and print on any printer. Use PLA preferentially, but ABS is okay. Get a piece of transparent plastic (like a transparency sheet) and slide it in between the gap after temporarily expanding the two outer arcs with your hand. Then smooth it out. Optionally, you can secure it in any number of ways, but it should stay there by friction. This design is intended to be quick to print, and easy to resize. It should print well on older printers. If your printer has been running nonstop lately, and it's off calibration, print it with a raft, otherwise don't. The idea here is that any piece of transparent plastic may be used. Check out my other work at https://www.robots-everywhere.com
