Simple Flying Saucer (model rocket) has not been flown yet but saucers are pretty darned simple and fool proof. install a chunk of 24mm BMS Motor tube flush on the bottom stick out the top an inch or two. you should use epoxy for this but CA can be used for BP motors or make sure to use “black tire glue” rubberized CA such as Starbond. Regular CA can “fracture” under the shock load of an AP motor ignition. Install motor so most of it sticks out the top (about half an inch out the bottom) then TAPE the motor to the motor tube. there is no pressurization so that should be sufficient to hold the motor in place. thin tape ring “thrust ring” at the bottom of the motor for security. impregnate the top outside of the tube with some THIN CA so when you tape and untape your not tearing apart the paper tube. ¼" lug built into the model so you can fly off any size rod. PETG is suggested as PLA in anything but white for the most part can warp in sunlight even on non hot days. especially in your car. This model prints in VASE MODE. 1 wall no tops no bottoms vase spiralize mode. Be sure to watch this video in order to correctly configure prusa slicer to slice the model otherwise it will likely fail. https://youtu.be/mchIOBiYh4g
