I first apply a thin layer of hot glue to the hook's backside with a gun, taking care not to reach the edges. After letting it dry, I use a hair dryer to reheat the glue until it reaches a liquid state. Next, I carefully attach the hook to the wall, benefiting from this method's ability to prevent glue overflow and make placement easier.
