After several years, my Simple Human Tension paper towel holder has finally given way. The tension arm has snapped off at the plastic joint at the base of the towel holder. Rather then throw this holder in the trash, i decided to open it up and see if it was fixable..... TOTALLY WAS. I pulled out the plastic piece that failed and transcribed it into an STL so I don't have to toss this and so i don't have to pay another 24.99 for a new holder. I'm not sure if this is a common problem, but the original piece seem like it would get pretty weak from daily use. I made a couple design improvements so I hope this make it last longer.
