Simple Modular HDD Caddy
thingiverse
I reworked the design to rectify certain issues and streamline the structure. The updated version performs exceptionally well, as my standard screws now fit securely with ample thread engagement. I also incorporated sunken holes for screw heads, since I couldn't use conventional HDD screws with the initial model. Additionally, I removed unnecessary holes that were causing warping. To enhance functionality, I affixed h-pegs to the model and slightly angled the groove's beginning. For improved connectivity, I carved an angle on top of the h-pegs. In version 3, I deepened the bottom slots' grooves for easier yet secure hpeg fitting. Lastly, I added support for hpegs, allowing for construction without additional support (currently testing).
