Simple mosquito trap, now it will be easy to reduce the mosquitoes!You will only need:• 1 printed trap• Water• 4 spoons of brown sugar• 15g of yeastInstructions1. Print the trap2. Stick your printed part in your garden, in a flowerpot or whatever you want to reduce the mosquito population!3. Boil the water and dissolve completely the Brown sugar4. Wait until the water with sugar has cooled5. Sprinkle the yeast on the mixture, but do not stir it6. Throw the mix in the printed trap7. Empty and refill the water every two weeksHow does it work?1. The mix of yeast, water and sugar will produce CO2 and mosquitoes like it! They think CO2 comes from an animal or human breathing2. Mosquitoes go inside the trap…but they can’t find the way outMain advantages:• Not material support will be needed for printing the trap• Minimum material will be used for printing the piece (Generative Design has been used to reduce the mass thanks to Solid Edge)• Ecological if PLA is used (It is biodegradable and derived from renewable resources, such as chips or starch)• And the most important…IT WORKS!!!
