Simple Nutdriver
thingiverse
It's surprisingly simple to track down small hex drivers, but finding small nut drivers/sockets proves more challenging.\r\n\r\nThis straightforward print boasts a nut socket on one side and a hex drive hole on the other. By inserting a hex driver into the hex drive hole, you instantly gain a simple nut driver. If you calibrate it correctly (for instance, a 2.5mm drive hole), you can transform it into an M3 driver and then convert it to an M3 socket.\r\n\r\nThe customizer allows you to fine-tune the sizes to suit your needs and also features an option to scale and offset your hole sizes in case you don't get precise small holes on your interiors.\r\n\r\nI recommend using a high infill (I utilized 33%) so they can withstand some torque.\r\n\r\nIf you want to create a permanent one, make the drive hole extremely tight, heat up the hex driver, and push it into the hole until the plastic grips the drive shaft.
