Just like that things name suggests, this is indeed a basic shelf bracket. Quite amusing, really. It's still rather compact for now, so you may have to expand it somewhat to achieve the dimensions you need. As it stands, I have no notion of how sturdy this design will be when complete. For safety's sake, be sure to conduct a thorough test before constructing and placing anything valuable on top. Ah, yes - the humble shelf. A testament to human ingenuity indeed! For added convenience, I've created a variant with slightly curved corners for a more streamlined appearance.
