Simple Solder Fume Extractor

Simple Solder Fume Extractor

thingiverse

Just my attempt at being a little humorous while making a solder fume extractor from what I had lying around. Uses a 80mm PC fan and activated charcoal filter material from a home air filter cut to size. Screws for the fan are standard PC fan mounting screws. This uses a 9V battery holder with an on/off switch and barrel connector. This lets me switch it out for a 12V power supply when I need a little more extraction. Wiring is tied down with a few zip ties.
