Simple Steam Deck Dock

Simple Steam Deck Dock

This is a Dock for the upcoming Steam Deck. I used Dustojnikhummer's Split Steam Deck which is based off of Wallmasterr's Steam Deck model to model the dock off of, although the dock has the back intake port on the proper side ;) The dock can fit 3 40x40x20 fans or 3 40x40x10 fans. The fit is tight and may require sanding, but I didn't want to have to glue anything in. The hidden wire channel is 13mm x 13mm, so overly large USB plugs aren't going to fit , although really it's for passing a USB C cable and and fan wires through, so it should be plenty. The back bay area is H 17mm x L 163mm X D 46mm, which works nicely with my USB C hub, USB C Hub (RCA 6 in 1 USB C Adapter, I got it on Amazon, but it doesn't seem to be on sale anymore). On a side note, the fans you see in the pictures are not fans I would actually use in the final build, they are just 20x20x10mm fans I had lying around my work bench. I tossed them in so you would get an overall feel for the end design. So this is a work in progress, I'll probably upload future models, as I might do some more channels in the front to move the air from the fans around the entire deck more, although I tried to place the fans near the most intense heat locations. I also may make a model where the back tray is closed and has a proper port back panel. Feel free to remix this or laugh and make a better one from scratch. I just wanted to get the ball rolling on docks, as I've seen no sign that a Steam Dock will be ready at release for the Steam Deck.
