Simple Sturdy 2x4 Couch and Love Seat

I was tired of the "affordable" couches-Love seats I would buy falling apart after a short period of time. Kids can be rough on furniture, and the plywood and staple method of construction they use these days didn't thrill me and I thought I could do better for less. These were designed using simple 2x4 lumber for strength. my models don't show the cushions but I used 4" high density foam covered with denim. I put the foam on the plywood and wrapped the denim around and stapled. The drawings also do not show the 1x2 cleats I attached to the plywood so that it could be attached to the frame from the back as I made them out of scrap. All joints were glued and wood screwed together. Frame was routed, sanded and painted after assembly.
