Simple Sun Dial Wristwatch

Simple Sun Dial Wristwatch

This design came about because while I think that while C Average's Sun Dial Watch is incredibly cool, it is also beyond my skill-level to manufacture. Also, it is designed for a different latitude than that at which I live. So I made this watch instead, which achieves the same purpose with fewer parts. Instead of a gnomon that springs into place, my gnomon clicks into a slot and can be stowed inside the watch when not in use. This sundial is calibrated to 39⁰ latitude and includes a level and compass in the design so that you can be sure that it is correctly oriented before reading the time.
