<p>I need to connect my keyboard both to my personal and work computers and I didn't find any simple USB switches online (purchased one on Amazon that always wires the 5V lines of both PC, reinjecting power in USB ports !) so I made one with a rotary switch; no electronics parts, 100% reliable.</p><p>For this small project you will need :</p><ul><li>2x USB Type-B female connectors</li><li>one USB Type-A female connector</li><li>a rotary switch (4 circuits, 3 positions)</li><li>a knob</li><li>2x 1206 CMS LED (optional)</li><li>one 370ohm resistor (optional)</li><li>4x M2 screws</li><li>a piece of prototyping board (43*20mm)</li><li>some wires</li></ul><p>I didn't made schematics.</p><p>Use <strong>box.stl</strong> if you want to include two status LEDs, <strong>box-no-led.stl</strong> otherwise.</p>
