Simple Wall Shelves

Here is the ultimate in simplicity for shelving. The 1.625" thick walnut verticals are mounted directly to studs - find with a stud finder - or use toggle bolts. Mine are 48" apart. The ash shelves simply slide into slots which also covers up the 4 bold heads, the only hardware in the unit. The uprights are staggered as are the shelves. The dadoes can easily be cut by hand. These shelves will support a LOT of weight even though they float. (Thanks to Charles (@MetalDesign) - I used your lag bolts in my model.)
