simplehuman Dish Rack foot - longer

After a number of years, the drainboard for the simplehuman wire frame dish rack sags and no longer drains as well. This is a replacement foot sized 0.5" longer to provide a steeper slope and (I hope) better draining. You will need to make/print at least two of these feet -- three if you use the dish rack in both orientations. Original item: http://www.simplehuman.com/ca/wire-frame-dishrack-stainless-steel Non-Commercial license selected out of respect for simplehuman's interest in the original design. I did not attempt to recreate their exact design, just mimicked the overall shape. Print Settings Printer: Monoprice Select Mini 15365 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.06mm (standard) Infill: 20% Notes: Used Cura to slice. Nozzle size is 0.4mm. Layer height 0.06mm; shell thickness 1.6; Bottom/Top thickness 1.2. Used a 10-line brim. These shell/top thicknesses are much thicker than usual. I turned OFF the solid infill bottom; this helped avoid curl problems when printing with ABS and looks interesting ;-) Post-Printing Installing the feet To install the feet, the trickiest thing is to remove the original feet without breaking the drainboard. I used two table knives, one to push one of the sides away from the original foot and the other under the original foot, pushing up. The new feet pushed into position easily. I chose to have the smooth side facing out. You could have two smooth sides if you wish. How I Designed This Just a couple careful measurements with a caliper. FreeCad file provided if you'd like to tweak or reverse-engineer.
