I love [Dan0nator's](https://www.thingiverse.com/dan0nator) [Halo Blaster](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:68620). But some of the pieces require a lot of support, and they fit together fairly intricately so that the slide works, the magazines can be swapped in and out, the trigger can be pulled, etc. It's a great model, but my kids just wanted the Halo Pistols to play with. All the articulation was cool, but not when dad got too frustrated to print another one! :-) So I redesigned the pieces (including [MTriton's](https://www.thingiverse.com/MTriton) very cool [Slide with Text](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:536776)) to all print without supports (except for the hand guard which requires a tiny support at one end which can't be seen once attached to the frame) and to be easily glued together. Nothing moves, but it's still a very cool looking prop. All the pieces are in the orientation that I print them in. But I have a very tall printer, so I print the frame standing up with no support. If your printer isn't tall enough, then I recommend you print it upside down with supports, so all the supports are under where the slide goes. Then if you have any issues getting the supports off, no one will see that area once the slide is glued in place. It takes a lot of extra filament, but it keeps the rest of frame looking good.
