SimpleSumo- Educational Fighting Robots!
thingiverse
SimpleSumo is an awesome little open source robot that lets anyone build their very own autonomous mini-sumo with no prior knowledge in robotics at a price everyone can afford. Designed to make learning fun, I created the SimpleSumo platform to lower the barrier to entry into the exciting world of mini-sumo robotics. These robots are so easy to understand and build that kids can get started quickly, but they also offer great depth through Mr-potato-head-style mechanical customization and Arduino programming that's both fun and challenging. These toys are perfect for small groups of students aged 10+, and assembly takes about an hour with minimal tool use and no soldering or breadboarding required. Adult supervision is suggested for younger students who need a little extra help.
