Simplified universal 2.5 > 3.5 hdd / sdd caddy
thingiverse
I just simplified the hexagonal parts using Tinkercad by importing the STL and editing before realizing Dojan had very kindly shared the source files, eliminating any concern over those initial comments. Despite the challenges, this was all good practice for me. The design has now been tested and used in several machines, thanks to Dojan's kind sharing of his work - it truly shines through in the precision placement of the holes. I actually utilized it to mount a Crucial MX100 SSD into a bottom-mounted Dell system with impressive results.
