We are slowly releasing all of the designs for our 360 rigs here on Thingiverse -- we have sold many but the market is slowing down for 360 rigs while our threaded inserts used in them are getting more and more popular. We hope releasing the STL files freely will encourage greater adoption of our designs, and we intend to continue supplying the inserts for the long term, and the COTS components for at least the medium term. This is a 10-camera 360 rig designed for the GoPro Hero4 but will with with many different cameras that can use GoPro-style quick-detach brackets. It worked well for us while we were based in Alaska. Now that we are based in Georgia (the state), we don't come across many scenes worthy of 360 photography :-( This rig can be waterproof if used with individual waterproof housings, but we have another rig (to be released on Thingiverse soon) designed specifically for waterproof housings (hero4 only). This rig works great with the frame housings. For good deals on the aluminum quick-detach brackets and frame housings, look for our store "Albers LLC" on eBay. There are models for the brackets available from other users on thingiverse. Printed ones work "well enough", maybe give them a try before buying our aluminum ones. If you use this enough, you'll want the metal ones. Printed brackets are fine for occasional light use and make this almost fully printed besides the threaded inserts. You will also need a variety of threaded inserts -- which is now our primary product line. These are available on both eBay and Amazon. The top/bottom use 1/4-20 (short) inserts, and each WD mount requires 3 #8-32 inserts. The top and bottom plates connect to the core with #8-32 inserts. We are expanding our fastener catalog but for now we suggest buying fasteners from wherever you would normally buy them.
