Update 1/5/2020: Please understand. This is a model to teach, and to learn from. I will not add any more instructions on how to build this wheel. It is meant to be a challenge. If you want easy, there are other wheels to choose from. I have spent many hours (if not days) putting together instructions on how to make this wheel, it does require knowledge that can be gained from doing easier wheels to begin with. If you are struggling with a particular area, send me a message and I will help if I am able. But understand, having some prior knowledge is to your benefit. The wiring is hard. But as I said, this is a challenge, and make no mistake.... it was difficult for me! Important! This is a difficult build. If you have not built a wheel before, this will not be impossible but I strongly advise using only the parts that I specify or possibly starting with another build like Fox_85’s 650S GT3 wheel. If you’ve built/designed wheels I hope you enjoy the complexity of this particular one. I also hope you’re able to make some cool adjustments and share them! Certain parts are used for very specific reasons: The Leo Bodnar BBI-32 is used because of the amount of button connections required. This must be paired with 3 of the BBI-12 rotary switches. This is because if you were to use rotary encoders, they use 2 button connections each whereas the BBI-12’s use only 1 button connection. With using all encoders, you will run out of connections on a BBI-32 board. The only way to remedy this would be to use the Leo Bodnar BBI-64 which is more expensive. Using cheaper parts may/will require serious re-design of the model. Each part location is affected by those around it. Never underestimate the difficulties of getting the wiring into the build after making changes. Which brings me to my next important point: This is not a cheap build. Still cheaper than buying a ready-made wheel or even a kit, but the parts required are there because other (cheaper) options were not able to fit inside and maintain the look of the 919 wheel. I did try The Paddles can be found in my other designs
