Simucube E-Stop Adapter Plate

Simucube E-Stop Adapter Plate

Hi everyone, What is this? This is my take on a E-Stop adapter plate for the Simucube 2 emergency stop. The adapter plate will probably also be compatible with other E-Stops, just check the dimensions. Why do I need this? The adapter plate allows mounting the E-stop to aluminium profiles without drilling holes, using cable ties or velcro. You have full flexibility for positioning your E-stop. Why are there three versions? I included designs for a horizontal or vertical mounting. For the horizontal mounting, there are two possibilities. What screws do I need? - 4x M4 Din934 - 2x M4 Din912, 10mm long - 2x slot nuts for your aluminium profile - 2x M8 Din912, 16mm long How do I assemble it? Put two of the M4 Din934 into their printed holes. Screw the other two M4 Din934 onto the M4 Din912 screws to shorten the total length of the screw (see third picture). Use these prepared screws to fix the adapter plate to the E-Stop. Fix this assembly to your aluminium profile with appropriate slot nuts and M8 Din912 16mm screws. Of note, six or eight mm long Din912 screws could also work to fix the adapter plate to the E-stop. Shortening them with M4 Din934 is then not needed. Any questions or wishes? Let me know ;) Best, Hoernle
