Singer Cam Creator for Type A and D Cams

This OpenSCAD project produces Singer sewing machine flat cams of type A and D. Type A Fashion discs are used in many early models: 224U, 226U, 244, 258, 288, 306, 316G, 319, 328, 338, 348, 358, 360, 368, 478, 588, 675U, 875, 972, 974, 1995, 3130, 3140, 3150 etc. Type D Flex-stitch discs are used only in some machine models that support stretch stitches: 438,518,538,6548 and maybe others. These models use both types of cam. Definitions for all 7 Singer Flexi-stitch (type D) discs are included along with 11 Fashion discs (out of 33 patterns manufactured by Simanco). It is possible to produce custom pattern cams, a 2-step zigzag disc is provided as an example. These discs are still available on the second-hand market for reasonable prices, it is always better to buy originals. If you are in a bind, or want a custom pattern, this project is for you.
