Single Rod Fishing Pole Holder

Single Rod Fishing Pole Holder

After finding only a few options that either didn't hold properly or did work in my area, I decided to create my own. The Top piece is designed to be slid into from the bottom, much like you would a pool stick, and then dropped down into the base. The dimensions of both holes are 30mm in diameter, which should accommodate most fishing rods. You may want to measure the base of your handle to make sure scaling isn't needed. Both pieces should scale nicely, just keep in mind the dimensions of the screw holes, if you scale up you may need to find a larger screw. Same for scaling down. I recommend using a brim at least. I also used 50% infill for durability, but it should be fine at 20% as well. Enjoy, and please post finished product when you've completed it! Happy Fishing! Edit: I fixed the base as the screw holes did not have adequate room on side or top. Now there is plenty of room. I also added a middle piece, that has a hole to slide through with the middle of your pole. The middle piece is not needed, but gives the pole some added stability on the wall.
