Single Wall Alignment Test

Single Wall Alignment Test

This is a test print to ensure proper calibration and alignment. A good test of your Z axis smoothness, over/under extrusion, and slop in the belts. The clear blue print on the left ran out of plastic(I need to design an alarm to prevent this!) The far right shorty failed. I adjusted the Z height in .01 increments til I got the beauty in the middle. Im still working on getting all my colors to print this flawlessly. See the escape code in the instructions! With the clear blue I am able to get one to hold water, sigh once in a while. Ambient air temp plays a factor here...(my theory) Most times the bottom cracks off when i squeeze the sides together. For some reason its the first thing i do frequently with this print. Again my theory is that i am more concerned with Z attributes and the fact that its just one layer on the bottom. Probably needs a tweak on the model. If your familiar with Solid Works, this is a shell of the model. The shell is .5mm thick. The bottom prints at one layer. The walls are one layer.
