Hi there, Update 07/26/2018: Please check the Version 2 with a strong mesh base. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3021770 Today I introduce the finest drain strainer for the kitchen. The hole is about 1 mm; therefore, except water, nothing can go through to clog the sink. Plus, with the smooth puller, you can easily take it out and dump the gross solid into trash with no-mess-up hand. I found many strainers on the website; however, their hole sizes are too large to be efficient. They are super weak against hair and leftover food, although they looks like a filter. Why mine is better? First, my partner said it is the best drain strainer she ever met. Second, the filtration is amazing! Third, using minimum material. Reason? I use a 20 mm raft (without top layers) at the bottom as the fine filter and 0% infill. The inner part is even squeezable. Last not the least, you know, the puller design saves lives. How to print? Print it with a EXTRA 30 mm raft, layer space 2 mm. PP and TPU 95A will be the best because the raft will stick to the bottom of the puller. Nylon is also fine. PLA, honestly, I am not sure. Maybe, tuning the distance between the raft and printing can make it happen. (in the picture, I used 20 mm raft and found out I should print it larger like 30 mm raft.) Print this for your kitchen. If you get a thumbs up, come back and give me one.
