(CZ pro detaily se podívejte sem: https://3d.odkaznik.cz/sio-m) The socket is used in all types of 8-bit Atari computers and their peripherals as an SIO bus connection point. The socket can be used to build modern peripherals or used as a replacement for missing ones. The rear part is equipped with a small PCB, which serves for the quality fixing of the contact pins and also for the extension of connectivity. In addition to replacing the original socket, it can be used e.g. for the production of an SIO Splitter or for further implementations thanks to the raised pin row on the PCB.
