Should work with any tube diameter 7-20mm UPDATE: Made pet bottle threads instead of you having to mess with the bottle cap a bunch. Should work much better but I can't test it for a while so I'll leave the old version too just in case. If you only screw a bottle in it may not be water tight, in which case it should function mostly the same however leak if stored upside down. For the updated one, just screw the bottle on and: Fill the pet bottle with water and screw on the siphon starter. Hold the bottle under water with the other hand pushing the tube end down onto it by hand to make a temporary seal, with the connecting point being under water. Squeeze the bottle and push all air out the other end of the tube. Remove the bottle from the tube and let go to make it suck in water from the reservoir and refill itself. It should now be flowing by itself as long as the end of the tube is below the water level in your reservoir. The video I used for the thread measurements: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-BS9KR-B9U4 For the old version: Drill a hole in the cap of a pet bottle and glue the cap in the slot on the siphon starter. Contraption can be stored upside down without leakage.
