This sample of skarn ore is from the Mount Garnet Zn-Cu-Pb skarn in far north Queensland. This specimen is dominated by sphalerite and calcite. The finer grained green patches are a mixture of diopside and hydrogrossular. The same mine is also host to crinoid stems that have been replaced by sphalerite.
