Ski pole clip

Ski pole clip

When designing this clip I had just broken a similar clip from Thingiverse (the green one in the third photo). The clip must have some flex, and the design with the open middle is supposed to allow for sufficient flex while still holding the poles firmly. The joint in the middle may seem fragile, however I find that using less material in this joint makes for less stress on the joint. I printed the clip with 100% infill, however I am sure it will work with less. The print time and material used printing with 100% is negligeble anyway: 26 mins and 2.18 meters using FlashForge Finder. The ski pole clip is meant to be used in pairs. One clip near the top of the pole and one near the lower third of the pole.
