For my Extreme redesign challenge I decided to make a ski pole handle. My ski pole handle is very different from any other handle on the market today. My handle will make skiing more enjoyable and it will make every skier a little happier. My ski pole handle is a heated. The handle of my ski pole is heated and uses batteries that are inside the handle. The handle is made out of abs plastic. There are buttons on top of the handle to turn the heat up or down and to turn it off and on. I thought of this idea when I was skiing on a cold day. The heated ski pole is used to heat the palm of your hand without making your ski pole or your glove too thick. The problem with hand warmers are they are either on the back of your hand or they are on the inside of your hand and then they make it harder to grip your ski pole or anything else. Heated gloves also have some of the same problems. They are big heavy gloves that only heat around your hand and not the inside of your glove. You can also use any glove with the heated ski pole handle. If a pair of gloves get destroyed then you don’t have to go out and buy the expensive heated gloves but you can get any normal glove to work with the handle. The handle can also attach to any normal ski pole.
