I have a Swix ski edge sharpener for the typical and frequent 'side edge'. Every once in a while a little rust or rock ding requires a cleanup of the 'base edge'. I didn't want to shell out another $50+ dollars for yet another tool, so I designed this guide to let me do the most common factory base edge angle of 1 degree with a file.
