Skil tripod quick release camera mounting plate with 35mm square

Most tripods come with only one mounting plate. When I see the quick release camera mount for Ambico/Velbon tripod I found the idea good so I reuse my Sigma EM-140 ring flash holder's camera holding part and add a foot that fit in the tripod. Two versions for this object : the small one is well fitted for small devices like flash and the big one for greater devices like camera. Need part (see picture : big version on the left, small in the centre and the original plate one the right): Screw "photo format" (1/4 inch large × 1/2 inch length): 1 Screw M3 cylindrical head (16mm for small version, 12mm for big one): 4 Nut M3: 4 Rubber washer seal (15×21 for small version,20×27 for the big one): 1 Update on 10th March 2016 : An elongated version of the big one is added. It offset the camera of 64mm. Making this version require a new pair of M3 bolts. Here due to the importance of external dimension, I can't. So I enlarge the holes dimension and that work fine... For me... If you have an idea on how to share my designs cleanly, thank to let me a comment. Post-Printing Small thumb wheel box support removal This operation is easy: just break the piece ! The surface may be softened with a cutter. Washer tap gluing Use cyanoacrylate glue and a clamp to fix the rubber washer seal on the thumb-wheel box: it permit a better camera fixation.
