Nanuk 909 Cam Lock Adapter

Made this latch system so I could use a 16mm (5/8") Cam Lock with my Nanuk 909 hard case. I've uploaded Left- and Right-handed versions (glue-in) plus a right-hand version with a recession to allow attachment with automotive two-sided tape (the type with the red backing, such as 3M 38582). In addition to gluing or attaching this with automotive tape there's a standoff in the case that accepts a ~10mm long plastic screw as shown. To mount the lock, remove the vent port and trace the shape needed for the cam lock using hardware that came with the lock or the dimensions in the pictures above. Not a lot of material needs to be removed, I was able to get mine done with a pocket-knife. To fit the latching pawl, coat the edge with a marker and lock-unlock half a dozen times or so - the marker will rub off where the blank pawl hits the 3D printed part. Use these marks to cut/file the blank to fit. See last picture for the exact dimensions of the lock I used - other sizes may work with minor modification. Some notes: Using automotive 2-sided adhesive is by far the easiest way to mount this unit; If you use glue, make sure it binds with the materials! Not all glues can cure when pinched between layers of plastic, and of those that can not all are flexible which is a must given that the case can bend and flex when being latched. If you are aware of an adhesive you would recommend to others, please post it in the comments :)
