This is a very good, solid, strong and accurate focusing mechanism for astrophotography and normal observations! This focuser also fits other telescopes similar to the SkyWatcher Discovery 150p. They use the same poor focusing cheap mechanism and it can be replaced with this one! The project is not easy at all!!! It will probably take you 2-3 tries to get it right and assembled normally, but it's worth the effort and money! Small bearings are also bought!!! Look at everything carefully, pictures, parts, files. I strongly recommend that you make the original tube with the tooth comb on a lathe and milling machine from ALUMINUM!!! It is a replacement for the original bad focusing mechanism! Some parts are taken from the original mechanism!!! The screw is taken from the original one! The tooth comb can also be carefully taken from the original one! Very precise leads! When mounting a camera, even a dslr, it is possible to lock with the main nut to keep the focus in place despite the weight of the camera. On the side, you can drill and place two more small bolts m3 thread opposite!!! I didn't drill holes for them, but you can drill with a small drill and put them in extra! This is a project that, in order to be done well, requires money, time, patience and probably tools like a lathe and a metal cutter! От оригиналния механизъм се взимат някои части!!! Врътката се взима от оригиналния! Зъбния гребен също може внимателно да се вземе от оригиналния! Много прецизно води! Когато монтирате камера, дори DSLR е възможно да застопорите с главната гайка, за да запазите фокуса на място въпреки тежестта на апарата.
