Hi! This is a generator for some kind of Skyscrapers. The main goal while designing this one is to have a 'Surface mode' printable figure. A fast printing mode for hollow figures. Useful for lamps, try to put some leds inside. The Customizer is easy to manage. Just set the number of sides of blocks, the 'levels' (affects af total height of figure) and an optional twist. There's no seed for randomness so every Customization generates 3 random STL's sightly differents of the preview. Include a ZIP file with a bunch of STL's generated during development. build me up, tear me down and have fun printing this one!! Print Settings Printer: BQ Prusa i3 Hephestos Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: No infill Notes: I've learned a few things printing this in 'Surface mode'. Hope you find it useful 1.- Printing in surface mode needs a good bed adhesion. if you don't have heated bed (i don't) use hair spray or some kind of sticky glue 2.- Don't print too fast. I usually print at 60mm/s but get some 'holes' near corners in 'Surface mode'.Priting at 40mm/s works well for my printer 3.- Get more flow: I usually use between 75%-90% flow. For Surface mode i use 100-110% to avoid 'holes' and bad adhesion between layers. Some pieces generated have small parts 'floating' inside. Not a problem in most of figures but check carefully your layers in the slicer software to ensure a good printing Surface mode in Cura Look for 'Surface mode' in 'special modes' Check your layers This 'floating' parts are connected to figure in upper layers. Usually makes a bit of overhanging inside but the surface of figure prints well. Sometimes it's a mess
