Skywalker X8 VTOL Quadplane Conversion

These are the parts for doing a VTOL/quadplane conversion of a Skywalker X8 flying wing RC plane. My plane is running Ardupilot. Full details are available in this YouTube video: https://youtu.be/TJx1Zkko_Ug The arms for the quad motors are 10mmx10mm carbon fibre. There are two versions of the slide on motor mounts, you will want two of each version. They should be selected so that all motors tilt slightly inwards toward the fuselage, assuming you have configured the copter as an H-frame. If you have selected an X-frame then the motors should tilt outwards. This tilt increases the yaw authority. The motor mount should be printed from something like nylon or ABS which have higher melting points (since motors can get hot). For my build I actually used these tilt-motor mounts for the front two motors, but you could equally just add a fifth pusher motor to the X8: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6173506 All parts are designed to be printed without supports. All fasteners should be M3 bolts, various lengths are used, with nylock nuts. FYI the extra vertical stabilisers on mine are downscaled versions of this: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:450060 I opted to include them following a lot of reading about the M2-F2 for a previous lifting body project!
