Skywind Dwemer Sphere

This is a Dwemer Sphere Animunculi that I made for Skywind. It was designed to look a bit closer to the original sphere from Morrowind. We will have two variants, this one is supposed to be a bit lighter armored and exlusively ranged, therefore we decided to make it single armed, emphasising the crossbow, and also a lot more leaner, having a thinner skeletal structure in places like the wheels and body, which has a lot of plates on the other design. For technical reasons this model needed to be built for Skyrim’s Dwemer Sphere rig and animations. This provided several challenges, as skyrims sphere can fold into a ball, so ours needed to do the same. Joints had to match up perfectly, and I had to closely study where the different body parts fit together when folding in order to asses how we could change the model, and the design the new body parts to fit together just as nicely as the original.
