Skyzone 04x battery case 2 x 18650 with springs fast replacement

Two 18650 batteries (2S) power case for FPV googles Skyzone 04x (sky04x). Batteries are weight distributed by sides each in individual housing with springs and caps for fast batteries replacement. It nicely fits in original google's storage case along with antennas. Original SLDASM file attached. ###### List of additional items you will need to build case: 1) AA or AAA battery shrapnel springs 1 cm * 1 cm. I use [these](https://aliexpress.ru/item/32881285245.html), they fits nice when tendrils are flatten with pliers and depending on how strong you flatten them you can regulate how tight they will be inserted inside case caps. 2) Wires with maximum 2mm outer diameter. More flexible silicone wires are preferable. I use [22AWG](https://aliexpress.ru/item/4000627624331.html). 3) DC power plug 5.5x2.1mm 90deg angled (or straight if you prefer) I would recommend to find plug with pins like [this](https://aliexpress.ru/item/1005003919749553.html) or maybe cable and would not recommend plugs like [this](https://aliexpress.ru/item/32832739637.html) with "housing" for wire - it's quite clunky especially with shortest wire end. 4) Stuff for soldering: iron, solder, heat shrink, etc. 5) Three self-locking plastic nylon ties 2.5 mm wide (optional). 6) Wire protection sleeve (optional). I would recommend to use self closing PET braided cable sleeve with 3mm diameter like [this](https://aliexpress.ru/item/1005003320684552.html). It is much easier to install it afterwards and it is not fluffed up if you singe the ends with a lighter. 7) Two 18650 3.7V rechargeable batteries with flatten tips (***not pointed***) without protection (pcb), otherwise it not fits into case. I had tried made 2mm longer cases universal version that could also fits pointed batteries, but it gets much easier to loose connection on strings by shaking. ###### To assemble the case: 1) Cut and insert in batteries houses 3 wires: a) long red from left top cap to bottom of right housing to google's DC+ | b) short black from right bottom cap to bottom of right housing to google's DC- | c) medium any colored from right top cap to left bottom cap. Put wire protection and heat shrink on this step if you are using cable sleeve without split. *In my build red cable is 32cm long and it is shortest length for it I would like to recommend. Length of cable protection is 22.5cm. But please recheck sizes before use.* 2) Solder wires to shrapnel and springs and slide them in caps. Solder black and red wires ends to DC plug (+ is inside plug, - is outside). 3) Slide bottom caps (with springs) into cases and latch them, additionally use glue (optional), they are not designed to be opened. 4) Insert both batteries in cases: down with minus to spring, up with plus to shrapnel. Slide top caps closing the cases. Check 2S voltage in DC plug. 5) Install self-closing wire protection (optional). Zip tie wires to case "shoulders" 6) Insert brackets (mounts) in the googles. Don't take elastic band off, just pull it sideways, insert mount and slide it in band holding place. Be aware that you use correct mount (left or right) and don't rotate incorrect one. 7) Slide cases into brackets from side and latch them. Shove cable between cases behind fan. Insert DC plug into googles. Enjoy :) ###### ***Be aware:*** · It is not usual scenario, but note that it can loose spring contact and googles will turn off if you hit bottom of battery hosing by something rigid. It will not turn off just by shaking, I've tested. · Skyzone 04x will turn off when power goes down to about 6.1V. So not whole capacity of Li-Ion batteries will be used. Googles starts warning at 6.3V (warning can be disabled if you choose DCin instead of 2S in settings). ***
