GrabCAD
An additional platform with two degrees of freedom. To expand the capabilities of artesian kinematics. Although the delta printer can handle it too.
The idea is not new. But I want to offer my own layout option. The compact platform does not take up much usable space. The spindle assembly is made together with a toothed pulley, this is done to reduce the size of the supports.
The mandrel is based on a conical fit and is fixed with a nut. This solution further reduces the diameter of the spindle for installing the mandrel.
The motor driving the rotational axis is moved outside the base. Thus, the size has become even smaller. I am considering the need to use a gearbox to increase the gear ratio between the engine and the mandrel.
