This is the simplest Tesla Coil I have made yet. We need 12v DC 500mA to power it and it produces about 1200 volts on the secondary coil :D It can works from usb power too! The wiring is simple. You can search for "slayer exciter circuit" and find some working schematics. I used only one transistor, one capacitor that keeps the power supply stable and one resistor to fire up the transistor. I simply glued the primary coil tube to the cap of the box. Also you need to make some holes for the wires. That't it!
