<h1> DISCLAIMER </h1> Despite testing this design using materials with a high heat deflection (primarily tested with PETG+20% carbon fibre and heat resistant resin), there is still softening/warping of the construct when left in an incubator at 37degC with a humidity >90%. My best results were obtained using the __SirayaTech Sculpt__ resin, which can be autoclaved (tested). However, even this material with show signs of warping (but not leaking) after 48h in the incubator - I suggest periodically tightening fasteners to accommodate for changes. __Objective:__ Create a reusable slide chamber for cell culture and subsequent immunostaining. __Limitations__ with commercial slide chambers: i) One-time use (plastic waste) ii) Cost Using a resin shell and silicone insert, this designs allows for repeated use and can be sterilized using EtOH or through autoclaving.
