This slide holder is designed to display microscopic subjects mounted under a glass slide. The space is designed to fit a piece of 1/8" mat with a hole punched through it (13mm diameter) along with a standard glass slide slipped over it, providing enough friction and compression to keep the slide in place.I use this to display micrometeorites.
