When one of the double slider's sliders is locked in place, a precision-cut groove develops on the connecting rod to transform it into a guiding rod. As the active slider moves back and forth within its linear track, the connecting rod converts this motion into smooth, consistent plane movement. This configuration constitutes a classic slider guide mechanism.
