Slider

Slider

This is the slider for my linear slide that I designed. It is meant to be used with an Andymark NeveRest motor. This part was created by Tyler Evans, Hastings FTC Robotics Team (Circuit Breakerz). Print Settings Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator 2X Rafts: Yes Supports: No Resolution: 0.05 works best but 0.1 will work as well. Infill: This doesn't really matter, but the higher the percentage, the stronger the part will be. Notes: Rotate the part so that the motor mount (the cylinder) will be printed vertically (up and down). You may also use the Makerbot print file that I have provided that contains the best settings for this part and can be sent directly to the printer. Post-Printing Requirements In order for this to function, you will need to print the other parts for the linear slide as well. Putting the Parts Together Putting the parts of the linear slide together is pretty self-explanatory as it is pretty obvious where everything goes once all of the parts are printed. However, I will provide instructions upon request. Instructions for this Part Before you can add this part to the linear slide, you will need to drill a few holes in it for the motor to mount into. Drill them into the bottom of the cylinder wherever your motor's mounting holes will be located. How I Designed This I based the shape off of the slide that I made (of course). The motor mount idea just kind of came to me I guess, I don't really know how else to describe it.
