Sliding bypass door guide

Sliding bypass door guide

thingiverse

We have sliding "bypass" doors in our house. One of the guides -- the things that keep the doors from rocking in or out while hanging on the track -- had a broken plastic tab. I could have bought a whole new guide set -- the plastic guide itself and the metal plate that holds the guide to the floor -- or redesign and print both parts, but these options would be a waste of a perfectly fine piece of metal. So the plastic guide piece is it. Instructions I printed my copy with 0 (zero) extra shells and at 30% infill and 0.2 layer height. This all kept the thin areas thin, and not so strong that there wasn't some spring to the springs. :-) Be careful when removing from your build plate, as if you have leveled well and need to use a little force to remove the part, you may break off one of the thinner tabs and have to print another. Been there, done that.
