Sliding Clamp

Sliding Clamp

thingiverse

I needed a clamp for general purposes but the ones online were just not strong enough, especially when printing in PLA. Both the shape and orientation of the back "I-Beam" and the thickness of the slider and feet, allows for the clamp to oppose clamping forces a bit more creating a much stronger clamp. These clamps are made out of 9 pieces each. The slider helps keep the bolt directly in line with the top foot allowing for a much more precise clamping point. I always enjoy playing around with color variations of my prints. The parts are not too large so this all makes for a quick and easy printing. 0.4mm nozzle used and I would suggest getting that first layer perfect before printing. No supports, designed for easy printing. Pieces: Top Foot Bottom Foot Slider I Beam 2 x Threaded Bolt and Nut Assemblies.
